We are the Sunset Park BID, serving the businesses, people, and places that help make this district one of Brooklyn’s most diverse and authentic neighborhoods. The Sunset Park Business Improvement District (BID) was established in 1995 with the mission of creating a vibrant commercial district and improving the quality of life for the Sunset Park community.
Our organization helps to make 5th Avenue, from 38th Street to 64th Street in Sunset Park, a great place to shop, live, and do business by keeping the streets clean, safe, and green, as well as sponsoring lively programs and events. As the voice of the local merchants and property owners, we work to ensure that 5th Avenue is an ideal place for new and thriving businesses.
Our site provides you with information about who we are, a database of 5th Avenue’s merchants, information about our programs & services, and highlights events happening in our neighborhood. We hope you will visit often to see everything that we have planned for 2024.
